1. Who are you?
Meridiansix is a small, dedicated team of designers, programmers and project managers who have been developing online marketing tools for over 10 years. With hundreds of projects under our belt, we offer compelling visual design, leading-edge web solutions, distinctive branding, advertising, and graphic design. In short, state-of-the-art solutions delivered on time and within budget.
2. How long does it take?
Depending on the complexity of the project, websites can take from 3 to 9 months to develop. Smaller projects are completed more quickly. Before proceeding on any project, we develop a detailed schedule for mutual review. Rush orders are frequently accepted.
3. What does it cost?
We are a boutique design studio and each solution and contract is tailored to your specific needs. The average project typically runs $5,000—6,000. Larger projects can run $25,000+. For smaller budgets, streamlined starter-packages are available. View Pricing
4. What kind of payment plans do you work with?
Typically, we divide the work into one-third segments: research and design, creative sign-off and implementation. Payments are typically divided up to work in concert with each of these phases, ensuring accountability and effectiveness. We understand that each project is unique and are committed to remaining flexible, making sure the terms work in ways that satisfy our clients.
5. What is your workflow like?
Typically projects are divided into thirds. When your contract is accepted, we receive the deposit and begin the creative process while preparing site architecture and organizing content needs. When you are ready to accept the designs and architecture outlined, we call this "Creative Signoff" and the second payment is made. Then we enter into production which culminates in a working "Beta," when you are invited to review the project in a private environment while final refinements are made. Once you are ready to take the site live, any balance due is paid and we launch.
Larger projects often need to be separated into more individual milestones and payments. Smaller projects can be split into just two phases. Any client needing a particular payment arrangement can usually be accommodated.
Different team members are more active than others during various phases of the project. A single project manager works closely with you from conception to completion.
6. Who owns the work?
You do. The website, identity, or print design we create for you is yours. All published/posted files are the exclusive property of the client. Meridiansix only retains ownership of source files that were used to create the final product. We do not require our clients to purchase or participate in any proprietary software–we don't believe in it.
